Description

• Effectively manage the compliancefunction including ensuring policies and standard operatingprocedures (SOPs) with respect to all business activities of are incompliance with the regulatory guidelines and are commensurate withthe complexity of the operations.
• Identifydocument and assess the compliance risks associated with thebusiness activities.
• Develop a riskorientedcompliance audit plan for monitoring and testing. The activity planalong with the findings should be submitted to the Board / BoardSubCommittee for approval / information at a definedfrequency.
• Be a reference point to the Board /other departments (i.e. Internal Audit Risk Management BusinessManagers) for opining on compliance issues with respect to businessactivities.
• Ensure all compliance relatedreturns are filed with the regulator in a timely manner
• Examine any violations of rules regulations policies andprocedures and recommend corrective actions.
