Position Summary
This Business Analyst position is part of the eCommerce Technology team. Under general direction they will participate in the development process of solutions to support our eCommerce business. Key responsibilities include gathering and documenting requirements and user stories, helping to lead agile team(s) in the delivery of new features and functionality, and documenting and communicating updates and processes to our stakeholders. This role requires leadership and communication skills as well as a level of comfort working with technical teams.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
· Solicit requirements and user stories from key stakeholders throughout the company
· Document requests in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for agile team prioritization
· Work closely with agile teams through development, testing, and deployment process to ensure requirements are met
· Identify risks, gaps in logic, or edge cases to be accounted for
· Work closely with Project Manager to lead the Agile team in daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
· Continuously evaluate processes, implement learnings, and apply best practices
· Document complex technical flows and integration for team reference
· Provide timely, accurate, and concise communication to stakeholders
· Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization for our digital properties
· Assist with troubleshooting of defects and production issues alongside development team
· Analyze data to recommend solutions
· Provide training on new features and functionality to our support, Operations, and Customer Care teams
Experience Required:
· Required 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, working on multiple projects and systems
· Demonstrated ability to grasp and communicate complex system integrations
· Demonstrated ability to work on projects of all sizes in a technical environment
Experience Desired:
· Experience working in a retail environment or on customer-facing applications
· Experience working in an Agile environment
· Experience working with commerce systems/applications/concepts
· Experience with Sitecore or similar Content Management System
· Experience with Oracle/SQL database queries
Education and Training Required:
· Bachelor’s Degree in information systems or equivalent experience
