You are responsible for technical guidance and leadershipto produce cutting edge digitally enabled experience for a Fortune 500 Retail Convenience Store Company's customers and franchisees. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment which needs a mindset of a startup and an entrepreneur that is not hesitant to constantly shift gears, test and learn.

  • Demonstrate passion to stay up to datewith tech, prototype with and learn new technologies, proactive in technology communities, and learn from peers in engineering community

  • Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation and engineering 

    • Additionally, the lead will provide a technical point of view on how to grow and improve our technology and products and work side-by-side with the Product Managers.   


    Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree

  • At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, middleware or database technology

  • At least 3 years of technology leadership experience building customer facing products – web, mobile

  • At least 3 years of Cloud centric micro-services application architecture experience

    • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's in Information Technology OR Master's degree in Computer Science

  • 3+ years of experience managing medium to large size agile teams

  • 3+ years of experience with the AWS/Azure/Google Cloud eco-system, toolsets and deployment architecture

  • 3+ years of leading modern development approaches (containerization, cloud, continuous delivery, micro-services, modular reactive web applications)
