We face off to the business and support services to develop and oversee the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the enterprise. Our clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Global Capital Markets, Operations, Finance, and Legal & Compliance. We are responsible for Pioneer and Application Infrastructure, groups that look to develop foundational strategies, tools and technologies that are leveraged across Tech & Data, as well as standardized data and enterprise-wide services to provide leverage to the Firm's businesses. Scope Fungible Cross-platform developer on the Equity Derivatives Trader Desktop team. Trader Desktop is a pre-trade workflow and pricing system used by the global Equity Derivatives flow businesses to price products (options, swaps), manage market data (volatility, dividends, yield curves) and perform data analysis (time series, scenario reports). 2018 has seen a significant investment in Trader Desktop, such as the re-engineering of a number of components. We now have a great deal of work to do in renovating the pricing tools and adding new business intelligence capabilities, being driven at the highest level by the business. Job Responsibilities Interface directly with business unit sponsors to gather requirements and document specifications for a new pricing tool. Work with quants and trading to integrate analytics models and deliver new analysis tools. Involvement in the full development lifecycle of projects. Coordinate with global team on new features and participate in driving future direction of the system. Qualifications Tech Stack Languages C# (.Net 4.6.1), Java 8 (candidate isnt required to know Java, but Java knowledge is desirable) Technologies WPF, Reactive Extensions (RX), TPL, GPB, JSON Tools Team City, Crucible, JIRA, NUnit Trader-centric platform with a strong focus on pricing/analytics integration, and presenting data from a variety of back-end sources (real-time and time-series). Skills required WPF/C# with emphasis on multi-threaded real-time GUI development. Experience with design patterns, unit testing, performance/memory analysis, and n-tier architecture. Experience of full software development life cycle. Ability to coordinate with various teams to deliver projects successfully. Strong verbal & written skills required to interact with global teams. Highly motivated, analytical thinking individual. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Equivalent.
