Were hiring! As a Senior /Global Quality Analytics Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will work with the Global Quality Engineering (Assembly and Test) organization. The team is working to create valuable insights from data (structured/unstructured) by applying industry-leading methodologies in automation, AI, and machine learning to enhance Microns product quality & standards. Using these technologies, you will assist in our goal to achieve Quality 4.0 with the aim of reducing overall product & process variation which generally results in higher process margins, increased yield and reliability. Qualifications Technology/Tools/Platform Must Have Programing Languages (Python, Java, C , etc.) ETL, Database (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Snowflake, Hadoop etc.) Web Development (Angular, Typescript, CSS, Node.js, etc.) Strong familiarity with Linux machines/servers Collaborative Tools like GIT Familiarity with Atlassian eco-system (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, etc.) Good to have Image processing (OpenCV, Python PIL, Scikit-image, etc.) Familiar with Hadoop eco-systems (such as Spark,Hive, HBase, HDFS, NiFi) Contributions in Stackoverflow/Github Education Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field of study with extensive programming exposure. Masters Degree Preferred Core statistical knowledge is required to be successful in this role. A degree or certification in Data science will be a plus Experience Experience or knowledge on full stack development. 3 to 8 years of significant work experience in Data engineering. Strong programming skills in different OS (Linux, Windows). Experience with databases, such as MySQL/MongoDB/Hadoop/Snowflake and real-time data pipeline applications, such as Apache Kafka. Strong solution architecture, design, and impact analysis skills. Strong Agile development expertise. Experience with using machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to develop and evaluate algorithms to improve performance, data management and accuracy. Responsibilities and Tasks Collaborate closely with Business Users and IT on data management, taking an idea, access and prepare necessary data, develop it into an application with intuitive user interface, integrate with any pre-existing systems, demonstrate successful use cases and wins, etc. Discover new solutions and opportunities by analyzing data, identify patterns and trends. Experience working within a development team and in an Agile model (Scrum). Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently. A passion for data and information with strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Create intuitive user interface for interactive data visualization to explain insights from data.
