Executive Assistant Responsibilities

An Executive Assistant is commonly found answering phones, screening visitors, making travel arrangements, preparing reports, filing and organizing documents, recording meeting minutes, and performing basic bookkeeping tasks. Preparing financial statements, reports, memos, invoices letters, and other documents. Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by boards of directors, committees, and executives.

Executive Assistant Qualifications

• Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
• Excellent MS Office knowledge
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g. e-calendars and copy machines)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Discretion and confidentiality
• High School degree
• PA diploma or certification is a plus
