We create smart,people-centered healthcare to help the patients we serve recover faster andlive longer and more vibrantly. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Under limited direction and in accordance with allapplicable state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson &Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position is responsible for : 1.1 Supply of Materials Responsible for the procurement of Raw and Packaging Materials as per the monthly Production Schedule material requirements to ensure availability of the right quantity of components. Optimizes the flow of materials, while considering inventory targets and other parameters (warehouse capacity) Ensures that all material delivery schedules are communicated to the suppliers on time in order to meet plan requirements (confirm PO) Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions due to material challenges Interfaces with QA and warehouse staff regarding rejected/defective materials, making the necessary physical arrangements with the supplier to ensure a prompt return of goods or disposal. Liaises with the warehouse staff to understand and adhere to space or capacity constraints, managing inventory levels with agreed targets. Evaluates demand from internal customers and prepares comprehensive demand plan for specific business unit/Product l i ne. Maintain target reorder points to meet business fill rate targets while minimizing inventory. Participate in development of long-term strategic plan. Supervises process of material management of raw materials through subordinate. 1.2 Collaborate with Suppliers Liaises with the suppliers to clarify potential plan Constraints and interfaces between supplier and internal stakeholders. Timely clearance of invoice mismatches, creation of credit orders and subsequent matching of credit notes to credit orders. 1.3 Projects & Conversions Ensure planned events (conversion / transfers) affecting supplier or productions do not impact customer service or inventory goals. Provides necessary support related to SKU creation in ERP (SAP) for NPI Projects. Plays key role in Strategic & CIP projects of Production Planning and Logistics Function 1.4 Inventory Management Coordinate the Inventory Entitlement for Raw Materials Participate in yearly BP process Full understanding of inventory content of raw materials (Quantity & Value) Manage material inventory levels and customer service levels within targets. Ensure timely analysis and management of SLOB to support company objective to reduce SLOB. Clarifies the Inventory and follow initiates the Write Off process. 1.5 Compliance & Training Observes & promotes all regulatory requirements as defined per applicable regulations, rules & procedures established by the Company, and notified any violation or deviation to the immediate supervisor or appropriate authority. Complies with all training requirements to perform duties of the job. Ensure adherence/ compliance to Records Management policies and procedures, as applicable 1.6 Other Responsibilities Effectively partner with all internal and external business partners Perform various reporting for business and department (tracks and reports site level suppler service performance, etc) Manages the relevant dash board figures and drives the business by utilizing leading indicators. Optimize system-planning parameters and aging transactions diligently and timely to drive accurate purchasing signals and inventory targets. Coordinate improvements to supplier or department Processes as required: Lean or Six Sigma, VMI etc. Responsible for escalating business related issues or opportunities to next management level Performs other duties assigned as needed Qualifications Educational Qualifications: BTech/BE with minimum 3 years experience Are you ready to impact the world?
