Description:This role has specific requirements in terms of expertise in the interoperability and FHIR integration in the healthcare industry. Responsibilities Conduct gap analysis and develop solution specifications for proposed features Facilitate meetings with Integration team to gather and document feature requirements and explore potential solutions Construct user stories, analysis templates, feature specifications, mock-ups and user experience workflows Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to implement new features Test and validate user stories Collaborate with other team members (involved in the requirements gathering, testing, roll-out and operations phases) to ensure seamless transitions. Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related disciplines; 3 - 5 years of development experience in Healthcare domain Knowledge of production implementation with FHIR mapping between FHIR and other messaging standards is a must Demonstrated ability in analyzing business requirements, building business cases, managing change, and applying technology The candidate must be familiar with FHIR domains and mapping business processes or Health Care domains to FHIR resource Experience with other health care standards such as HL7 and CCDA is preferred Demonstrated ability to document and communicate software requirements and feature prototypes Familiar with various health insurance systems such as providers, members and claims along with clinical systems such as lab, pharmacy, radiology, cardiology, emergency department, operation room systems and EMR applications Proven ability to effectively manage multiple activities of varying complexity while under time constraints Excellent documentation skills, including workflow documentation and diagrams Additional skills Deep understanding of data management best practices and data analytics Ability to lead requirements sessions with clients and project teams; Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, planning and leadership skills; Ability to distill complex concepts into easy-to-understand frameworks and presentations Strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Ability to work within a virtual global team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects Willingness to travel to other global offices as needed to work with client or other internal project teams.
