Preferred QualificationsThe RGBU Program Management Office (PMO) implements industry best practices and supports all RGBU teams to ensure successful delivery of our products and services with speed and scale. Achieving this mission requires focus on key objectives at the team level, with the implementation carried out at the product level. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our Enterprise Program Management Office. This individual will participate in the following:• Implement industry best-practice Project Management methodologies, tools and techniques• Partner on key initiatives within the organization• Foster collaboration across matrixed teams, locations and senior leadership• Facilitate release planning for products and programs distributed on the Cloud and on-premises• Identify risks and ensure proper response planning• Ensure all Corporate compliance mandates are achievedWithin the RGBU, team members are also, responsible for the following:1. Oversee multiple projects for multiple products or within a product suite2. Meet weekly with the various teams involved in each part of the product’s life cycle3. Track progress towards defined milestones, and offer assistance needed to reach those milestones – e.g. PMs can help with third-party licensing or in ensuring Oracle compliance4. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending5. Monitor program from initiation through delivery6. Facilitate meeting security requirements7. Alert management of staffing issues that are impacting a project8. Facilitate approvals to use Oracle, commercial and open-source third-party software9. Partner to ensure that collateral needed to support a product after its release, such as demo environments, marketing materials, and training is available in a timely fashion Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others Desired Skills and Experience:• Solid experience in planning and delivering complex projects• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field; MBA is a plus• 5+ years of experience managing the development and implementation of software products• 2+ years of project or program management• CSM, PMP or PgPMP Certification(s) a plus• Knowledge of one or more of the following methodologies required: waterfall, agile, scrum, scaled agile• Knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite - JIRA, Portfolio Management, Structure, Tempo and Zephyr• Knowledge of APEX development• Ability to drive process improvements to bring in efficiency• Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills and leadership skills• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills• Ability to team with product managers to establish and maintain the roadmap, setting appropriate expectations and insuring our product and services meet our high standards for excellence• A self-motivated, self-reliant, self-starter with ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives under a minimal amount of supervision• Ensures adoption and implementation of project and program management methodology• Utilizes company and industry program management best practices and adheres to the PMO processes, standards and governance• Experience coordinating, communicating and collaborating directly with a distributed team from around the globe• Demonstrated cross-LOB negotiation skills in the context of product delivery and driving key changes Detailed Description and Job RequirementsManage the development and implementation process of a specific company product. Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
