Join a mission with a company behind it.What You’ll Be Doing:You will own the environment calendar and coordinate environment usage and status communication for critical applications and servicesYou will be responsible for reporting status to senior level leaders within IT and business operationsYou will be responsible for managing environment refresh requests, build requests, change requests, environment conflict and dependenciesYou will own the process for tracking and maintaining client environment activitiesYou will be responsible for coordinating and tracking hotfix requests, addressing fire lane items, as well detail coordination of patches and service pack deploymentsYou will manage and keep all documentation and interfaces related to release & environment management up to dateYou will be responsible for making sure all change requests are compliant with process and requirementsYou will help architect and implement automated processes to increase efficiency of deployment Essential functions 3-5 years of experience in release management and systems administration Experience in production administration or release engineer functionExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to understand application architecture including upstream and downstream data flowsKnowledge and experience in operationalizing build and test toolsProven experience in build, refresh & reuse of lower environmentsFlexibility - responsibilities may require evening and weekend work.Experience working with and guiding on and offshore resourcesFinishing Touches (Preferred):Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)2:30 PM IST/6:30 PM IST. Also, weekend/On call work requiredAny experience in using Azure, DevOps, PowerShell, Jenkins, CHEF and others for automation purpose is big plus.Any SQL Server experience.Knowledge of one or more scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Ruby or similar Knowledge of MSSQL Proven experience with automating release and build processes Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bamboo, Crucible, Confluence and Fisheye) Technical requirements: Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 MBPS and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.
