Job Overview TE Connectivitys IT Project Management Teams lead and direct one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation, modification and support of IT projects that span across functional organizations. They prepare project execution plans and identify appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meet technical requirements of the assignment. TEs IT Project Management Teams remain informed about current advances in the IT Field. They also provide program management oversight and guidance to team members. Primary focus will be on managing the key IT initiatives required to deliver our business, quality and technology requirements. The key requirement of this Project Manager role is to be responsible for the planning, executing, and delivery of these projects according to planned timelines and budgets. Building and managing project teams to ensure project quality control throughout project life cycles is key to this position. What your background should look like RESPONSIBILITIES Manage projects from initiation to closure working with key stakeholders to ensure that IT projects across Medical are delivered to defined timelines, budget and scope. As per the agreed Medical IS PMO governance process work with project Sponsors and Stakeholders to complete project charters outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budgets & timing. Knowledge of organization's budget process and ability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget. Interact with business leaders globally to understand the requirements and translating them to IT requirements. Stakeholder Engagement Responsible for managing and actively reporting on plan, budget, scope, resources, project decisions, risks, issues and dependencies. Maintain and present project metrics to PMO and major stakeholders including steering committees. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel across the project team Where required, negotiate with functional managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company. Managing Multiple Priorities ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization. Decision Making and Critical Thinking Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Assisting CoE teams to estimate efforts on new initiatives. Assessing project risks/issues and providing solutions as applicable. Determining project changes and coordinating to get them implemented through controlled process Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings; Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions. Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. Required to work in different time zones based on the project deployment location. EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE Bachelors /Masters degree in Business or any related field. Professional certification PMP is a must, CSM an added advantage. Knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma. CRITICAL EXPERIENCE Minimum 10 yrs. of experience in Project Management. Experience in SDLC Proven track record managing and successfully delivering projects Experience in Project Management tools like Microsoft Projects (Preferred), JIRA, Mindmap, Gantt Charts, Trello, etc. Experience in a GMP regulated environment a distinct advantage (Medical Device or other regulated manufacturing environments) Experience managing projects and multicultural teams across time zones Working experience on Lean or Six Sigma.
