Description:Job Description GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare the Monthly Profit & Loss Account as per INDAS to ensure regular monitoring of Expenses. Identify Business & Financial Risks and actively implement risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate with External & Internal Auditors and ensure preparation of Annual Audited Financial Statements as per IND AS / IFRS and timely filing with statutory authorities. Coordinate with Branches for Audit requirements and other documentation required for audit purposes. Ensure timely compliance with all statutory laws handling employment related taxes viz PF, PT, ESIC, LWF & other applicable amendments from time to time. Coordinate with the Supply Chain Management team to ensure a smooth & timely Procure to Pay process cycle. Regular Interaction with Banks to implement smooth banking practices and ensure maximum returns on treasury Ensure tight control over Cash & Bank balances through timely preparation of Bank Reconciliations and implement best practices to minimise the Cash Float. Regular Interaction with Branches to ensure proper cash management & utilisation. Ensure no idle cash balance lying at branches. Ensure proper and accurate booking of branch expenses in the Navision accounting system. Run the monthly regional / divisional performance reviews. Be a Team player and able to manage a large team. Benchmark branches to identify best practice and opportunities for improvement Partner with RMs in financial decision making such as ROI on capital investments, productivity initiatives & sales personnel investment Sponsor or deliver finance training to the RMs to improve their understanding of the business financial drivers and help build their commercial capability M & A- Participate and Drive finance integration and corporate finance systems deployment Functional Leadership Contribute to the finance team leadership as a senior member of the team. Bring best practices to the table that can be adopted by other markets Act as a role model for ethics and standards of the company. CORE COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Act Commercially Deliver Results Leadership Coach & Develop Manage Self Working With Others RequirementsEDUCATIONAL / OTHER REQUIREMENTS Prerequisites Experienced finance professional from the Services Sector Chartered Accountant with track record of delivering value to the business beyond audited accounts Leadership of team Financial Accounting FP&A M&A (not essential) Work Experience Minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in finance & accounting roles preferably for a multinational company Demonstrated leadership & communication skills: 5 years in finance management positions in a matrix organization and at ease dealing with leaders in other disciplines Expertise in several finance disciplines Strong financial modeling and IT practical skills, particularly in MS Excel.
