Voice Network engineer professionals have an obligation for installation, development, and maintenance of system networks within a business or between companies, many companies employ voice engineers to comp Responsible for insuring the day-to-day operation, reliability, and integrity of the enterprise voice communications network. This includes the installation, maintenance, and management of all voice equipment such as voice servers, gateways, PBX switches, phones, circuits, wiring, servers, backup systems, voice network management and diagnostic tools, etc. Answerable for planning and implementing enterprise unified communications-based projects. Accountable for mentoring and training of lower skill voice network engineers and technicians. In control of designing and developing cisco unified communication architectural enhancements, troubleshoot unified communication issues; create functional and technical design. Technical Skills Experience on Voice technologies. CCNA required; prefer CCNP or CCIE collaboration or must be able to obtain. Tier 2/3 Operations support in Cisco IP telephony. Perform Cisco CUCM (above 10.5 release) migration, implementation & support of various Cisco voice products. To plan, install and manage LANs, WANs, wireless networks, with routers & switches Requires advanced technical knowledge, programming, and troubleshooting skills related to CUCM, Voice Gateway (MGCP, H323, SIP) including POTS & VOIP Dial Peers, SRST configurations, IP phone/ISR/Gateway upgrades, certificate updates. Strong knowledge of integrating CUCM with other IPT products. Strong knowledge on SIP, H.323, RTP & RTCP protocols & troubleshooting. Troubleshooting of Cisco ISRs/Analog Gateways FXS, FXO, and ISDN, T1/E1 PRI Working knowledge of Monitoring/troubleshooting tools like RTMT, Dialled number analyser, etc. Understanding of IP Telephony protocols. Must also be qualified at all levels of LAN, WAN, Voice, and Security technologies. Experience in directly working with customer and client technical teams CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice, or CCIE Collaboration certification is highly preferred. Experience in implementing Voice solutions Experience in designing global call routing with on Cisco VG, CME, CUE, and CCM. Voice Recording Integration with a third-party solution. Low-Level Design details for the Unified Communications Solution Dial Plan LAN and WAN network design and Config Knowledge on Team Manager/Luware will be an added advantage. Knowledge on solarwind monitoring tool, contact center solution will be an added advantage.
