Job Description The UX Design Manager will hire, lead and develop the Bangalore UX team. The team will be responsible for designing visually appealing and elegant solutions, including the use of motion design (transitions, animated icons, etc.) to enhance usability and engage users with little need for training or help systems. Additionally, the team will be responsible for implementing, updating and maintaining our company-wide design system, including a code library, ensuring adoption across the development organization. Responsibilities Work with Seattle-based Director of UX Design to crystallize UX strategy, vision and style for the user experiences across all channels, aligning with our broader business strategies Manage staffing of Bangalore UX team, aligned to current and future project needs Performance management and mentorship of UX team members Triaging UX work requests and leveraging UX resources to maximize impact Collaborating with product and engineering teams on ideas that will help reach our goals Leading design reviews with cross-functional teams Help to establish an interaction design language across products that considers best practices, our unique product vision, and the future of digital experiences Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features Requirements 6-10 years professional experience across all facets of human-centered design and user experience, spanning UX strategy, experience/interaction design, information architecture, prototyping, as well as visual and motion design Experience with integrating the user experience and design processes with Agile / Scrum development A proven history of mentoring junior designers while ensuring simple, intuitive interactions that support the product vision Has successfully led and delivered major UX projects A sensitivity to the visual design excellence and the value of simplicity and visual editing Solid understanding of accessibility standards as well as internationalization and localization Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of responsive and touch-friendly design Passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation, as well as the drive to research and showcase knowledge in the industry s latest trends and technologies Be curious on a daily basis about our customers, users and our business Demonstrated strength in communication with team members and stakeholders Think critically about our approach and alternative solutions. ,
