We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
RBWM credit lending Decisioning is supported by CCS Decision Systems. Over 4 billion decisions are made every year for credit cards, loans, mortgages and current accounts. These lending decisions cover two main processes: a) credit origination and b) account management and servicing.
The program is to transform Credit Origination Decision infrastructure to improve credit decisions, create better customer experience through improved straight through processing and turnaround time, and increase use of digital channels. The program is to migrate All a) credit origination and b) account management systems on to SAS ID (Intelligent Decisioning platform)
Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Application Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions.
Redesign and simplify an overly-complex user interface, while preserving all functionality. Develop new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use. Understanding the Consumer banking and developing the modules with the requirement specification. Handling the front end development and related functionalities per requirements with good quality of code.
Responsible for delivering the user stories on time in a sprint with minimum bugs. Hands on experience in front end and web/hybrid app development.
2+ Hands on experience in front end and web/hybrid app development.
Must Have Skills: Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, JSON, Micro Services, 12 Factor Apps, Apache. Demonstrated knowledge of PCI and Security Coding Standards. Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements.
Prior experience working in areas of Analytics and Decisioning technology and driving new points of view and capabilities.
Experience with defining and creating methodologies, service offerings
Experience in managing the environment for the following architecture aspects: Availability, Maintainability, Operability, Scalability and Portability
Experience in Banking domain / Credit Lending / Decisioning domain
Prior experience in management methodologies (waterfall, agile, package, etc), enterprise planning, estimation, and project management (single and multi-site)
Experience in providing end-to-end support to production environments
