Description:Are you someone with experience or an interest in data governance seeking your next opportunity?This is an opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders across Macquarie's support businesses to help our Risk Management Group continue to ensure it is in compliance with Macquarie’s data governance policies such as Self-Service Analytics Governance, Models and User Developed Application Risk Management and Records & Information Management.As an Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the Risk Management group in understanding roles & responsibilities in ensuring compliance with the policies, the maintenance of governance documentation registers, and reporting on overall compliance across the group.This role will require: An understanding of data processes & the need for robust governanceAn ability to understand governance policies & translate into requirements An ability to identify opportunities for enhancements of processes and controlsStrong communication & stakeholder engagement skills Activities include: Manage and monitor system register for timing of data retention or disposal globallyManage a register of end user developed applicationsManage a register of self-serve analytics workflowsLiaise with divisional SMEs, Legal and BORM on requirements and assurance activities per systemEnsure records management requirements are implemented as part of data in changeRe-assessment of resource requirements for management of shared systems dataRoll out training and training materialsMaintain workflow documentation We are looking for candidates with prior education in Business or Finance. This includes a minimum bachelor’s degree qualification with strong academic performance.To be successful in this role, you will have an interest to build your career in the data governance related field for financial services industry. Ideally you will possess strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
