Generally, work is self-directed and not prescribed.Primary Responsibilities: Handling design, develop, and support the next generation security operations platformDeployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of the RSA Netwitness platform and additional misc, Cyber Security PlatformsContinuous focus and contribution in the areas of performance, availability & scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the productMaintenance and development of platform automation via scripting, primarily pythonMaintain a solid working knowledge of Information Security principles and practicesTroubleshoot in highly complex, technical situations and manage multiple priorities and projects within a matrixed organizationDevelop, implement and author technical documentation and proceduresCollaborate and communicate effectively both written and verbally with project stakeholders and technical teams to support business requirements and timelines Promote the development of innovative approaches and solutions to complex problems and issues Support other cybersecurity individuals and teams to provide guidance and expertise, promoting continued integration of technological advances to further enhance securityOversees the monitoring and responses to security incidents, perform risk analysis, provide remediating plans, and mitigate security risks where appropriateProvide recommendations and collaborate with director, managers, project managers, architects and other technical personnel to ensure mitigation of risks to the companyWorks with less structured, more complex issuesServes as a resource to othersComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Graduate or Masters in Information Technology or Computer Science or Cyber Security or equivalent with 5+ years of Information Security, Systems Integration, Network Engineering, or System Engineering experience4+ years of technical experience in Information Security for large enterprise environments2+ years of experience with next generation security operations platforms2+ years of experience with Network routing, switching firewall environments Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer Experience with any SIEM technologies or Deep Packet Inspection technology with in-depth understanding of Data aggregation principles Technology (RSA Netwitness, ArcSight, Splunk)Linux Server Administration (Linux command mastery)Demonstrated understanding of DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management)Demonstrated large scale system management (i.e. Fortune 500, Public Sector, etc.)Working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)Working understanding of the OSI Network modelShift Timing (IST) 2:30 PM – 1:30AM Preferred Qualifications: Netwitness Certified Administrator CertificationRSA Netwitness AdministrationAPI or Service integration experience with a Programming LanguageAdvanced SQL ExperienceJavaScript programming experience Careers with Optum.
