We are looking for a smart, well organized and highly motivated Engineering Program Manager to drive the programs in Digital Security and Risk Engineering (DSRE) space. This position will require cross team, organization, and division collaboration on larger compliance initiatives and development of security tools and processes. The ideal candidate has a consulting mindset and is focused on solving complex problems, capable of developing collaborative partnerships with customers across Microsoft, with the ability to frame solutions and drive alignment.
Driving a service vision and definition (as well as key success criteria), arriving at business outcomes and roadmap definition, defining system roadmap required to meet core business outcomes, and creating high quality features and user stories to deliver on those outcomes.
Provide thought leadership on how scenarios and features will be implemented across multiple systems and organizations.
Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with business, application program managers, software engineers, services engineers, vendors and Engineering peers.
An Engineering PM well versed with modern engineering principles with strong agile mindset to help continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Experience with C#, Visual Studio Online, SQL Server, Azure and strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact and effectively communicate with multiple project leads virtually.
Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent is preferred.
Tech/B. Tech degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field with 8+ years of IT/Product Engineering experience of which 4+ years operating in a complex, multi-system environment as product owner (or related) with strong understanding of the Agile framework.
Good understanding of enterprise grade applications in terms of resilience, scale.
Ability to work independently and ramp-up to new areas quickly
Excellent communication skills and desire to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment
A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies
Ability to deal with ambiguity and complex problems
