The business which this development team isSupporting specializes in securities and tax processing services in national and internationalmarkets. This includes the order management for funds, the settlement of securities as well asother event and income services like general meetings, safe keeping and custodial services.These services are provided to the business units of Deutsche Bank. For this purpose, thebusiness operates one of the highest-volume technical processing platforms in Germany andprocesses more than 20 million transactions per year. In addition, business operates othersystems which reduce the required manual work by automatizing standard workloads.To extend and maintain these systems, an experienced Java Developer is required.This role includes the design, implementation and administration of Spring Boot-basedapplicationcode to support business, functional and technical requirements.Furthermore, it includes the participation in the Scrum ceremonies to refine newrequirements and specification in a way that drives reusability and assures that the overalldesigns are consistent with industry best practices (including scalability, availability,maintainability and flexibility) and the systems overall design. Well aware of the Agile methodology.Hands on experience in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot 2, Hibernate, JMS, Microservice architectures, REST and SQL.Practical experience with build tools (preferably Maven), distributed version control systems (preferably Git) and continuous integration systems (preferably Teamcity).Some experience working with containerization solutions (preferably OpenShift or alternatively Docker)Some experience in Deployment Automation (preferably Urban Code Deploy) is desirable.Some experience in Angular 5+ is desirable.Some experience in front end technologies such as HTML, CSS and Javascript is desirable.Some experience with ActiveMQ is desirable.Should be aware of industry standard processes followed for build, deployment, release and application support (CI/CD, Incident/problem/change management etc.)Education/ QualificationsDefine the minimum level and type of education required.
