The combination of our unparalleled expertise in risk, expansive information resources, and innovative application of technology, helps today’s business leaders confidently navigate an evolving marketplace.Role/ResponsibilitiesRoles & Responsibilities:Responsible for Oracle and MS SQL server database administrationManaging Tablespaces including monitoring New Relic and adding data filesGenerating Oracle AWR Reports (Automatic Workload Repository) periodically to assess performance and database healthyApplying Oracle PatchesManaging memory metrics in order to recommend a better usage of SGA and PGAManaging PL/SQL code in order to automate tasks and help out with RiskFoundation problem-solvingPerform Database upgradesMaintaining Oracle Database environments up-to-dateManaging database security/integrity and backup proceduresArchiving dataPerforming Database Performance AssessmentWriting reports, documentation and operating manuals regarding Database Administration when new procedure is updated.QualificationsQualifications:Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other equivalent filed2 to 5 years experience in database administration (Oracle and MS SQL server). It is good to have AWS knowledge but not mandatory.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills. Work effectively with clients, vendors, peers, and business/IT management.Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) including Agile Development Methodology.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Ability to stay current on trends and development within functional area of experience along with the industry.Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.Willingness to learn, a can do attitude, and motivated to succeed and grow.Demonstrated ability to analyze and understand complex problems or processes, identify and understand requirements, and develop solutions.Must demonstrate accountability, sound decision making, analytical thoroughness, clear and concise communications, and the ability to lead and mentor team membersEEO PolicyMoody’s is an equal opportunity employer.
