To work within a team of highly skilled network engineers with 24x7 responsibilities for the operability and quality of the Colts Transmission, , owning the responsibility of real time alarm monitoring via monitoring platforms. The NOC will be key contributors to network quality, network availability and customer experience. Key accountabilities Core 24*7 monitoring of Colts Transmission, Monitors the network to proactively detect possible failures in network Performs continuous resource status to ensure live traffic is adequately supported Other accountabilities Additional Handling the alerts based on criticality and ensuring the Incidents are created for all valid alerts. Manage and coordinate faults with peering and transit partners. Manage and coordinate tasks assigned to other teams, such as Field Maintenance, TCS or TAN teams Ensure all department processes and procedures are accurate Key performance indicators (financial and non-financial) Maintaining SLA, NPS, CSAT and Repair time within agreed limits. Ensure effective customer communication while handling customer faults, Major incident and customer communication Relationships and key contacts List the key and regular relationships inside and outside of the company e.g. regulators, customer groups Indicate the level of contacts e.g. senior leaders, government Role specific requirements Skills & Experience 24*7 monitoring of Colts Transmission network by various monitoring platform. Real Time monitoring & understanding of Network Management platforms. A logical approach of alarm handling. Individual should have knowledge of working on all/ most of the platforms/ technologies mentioned below Technology Proficiency SDH, DWDM, Transmission Ethernet, MSP, Modular MSP, MPLS, OTN Monitoring Platform SMARTS, Netcool, Element/Network management system Ciena One control,ITMSC, EMOS, Preside, OMS, FNM, DNA, ASPEN, Planet Operate, SAM, ALU 5620 NMTI, ALCATEL AWS, ACTELIS, Siemens Net Manager, Sonus, ALU OPS, ECT AFO, Qualifications Essential Electronics & Communication Engineer (B.E.) with 1 to 3 years experience in Network Management / O&M profile in multi-vendor environment Results oriented Collaborative team player Desirable ITIL foundation. Fluent in English (written and spoken), second European language desirable
