First Name * Last Name * Email * Phone No. * Resume or CV * The Opportunity PnQ is seeking a Senior Finance Associate at our Pune office to provide Accounting/Finance/Business Operations support to our global team. The individual should be proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Attention to detail, financial acumen and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a compact support team is a must. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting deadlines. The Role The resource will provide essential administrative support within the finance and operations departments using a high degree of professionalism, autonomy, and confidentiality. He/She will work across intercompany departments, including Finance, Human Resources and Procurement, as well as international offices, in order to provide a holistic financial administration approach. We use integrated bookkeeping, time-tracking and invoicing, and payroll software, connecting both AR/AP and other internal systems. Key Responsibilities Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status. Administer Payroll. Monitoring statutory compliance Compliance related to TDS Ex. Calculating tax in different section, depositing and filling return Compliance related to P.F & E.S.I and minimum wages Act Knowledge of Goods and Service tax regarding Compliance Handle Bank payments and Petty Cash. Create moderately complex spreadsheets and presentations, as well as draft commercials like Purchase Orders, Invoices etc. Review employee time-sheets and expenses. Audit all time and expenses reports to ensure general company compliance. Conduct resource utilization reports and presentations to the executive team Verify and approve our independent contractors' bills, and process payments accordingly. Assist with all monthly invoicing processes, while also maintaining accurate budget tracking for all our active projects. Prepare and process expense reports and audits for our offices in multiple countries Work directly with our accounting team to support and coordinate all efforts. Skills & Experience Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting software is a must Knowledge of Tax laws including GST Familiarity with time tracking and invoicing software preferred Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Prior experience working in an entrepreneurial, client-focused environment is a plus
