Job Responsibilities

Defining the process, responsible for data migration across all functional work streams, of BRM and ECE and will identify data to be transitioned from legacy systems to BRM & ECE.

Develop core data migration deliverables and technical assets and support the testing throughout the data migration test cycles.

Assessment of data quality.

Manage the data cleansing and migration work-stream.

Management of risks associated with Data Migration.

Ownership of data extraction, transformation and migration activities.

Management of data validation processes for migrated data.

Work with data archiving team to provide data for them to populate data into the archive as appropriate.

Support the programme plan for each iteration of data migration.

Work with the functional / technical team to understand what data needs to be redacted.

Co-ordinate any additional activities required to facilitate Data Migration under the Project

Understand and communicate programme risks to the Data, Reporting & Transition Lead.

Assist with the co-ordination of on-site and offshore teams, identifying resource, required to successfully complete program deliverables.

Achievement of tasks autonomously.

Oversee the implementation of interfaces.

Lead the data work-stream in developing various mappings and process flows using SQL and other ETL tools to migrate data from the Legacy systems.

Develop Test plans, scripts and execution test cases for Systems End to End testing and UAT.

Skills Required:

Total experience in Information Technology field. Required 7 Years

Experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures in PL/SQL, query optimization, and scripts. Required 5 Years

Experience extracting data from Oracle databases. Required 5 Years

Experience in data validation, verification, and cleansing using PL/SQL Scripts. Required 5 Years

Experience understanding existing entity relationship diagrams (ERD) & creating new ones. Required 5 Years

Experience in high data volume data conversion environments. Required 5 Years

Background with RDBMS and coding. Required 5 Years

Experience creating shell script in a UNIX/LINUX environment. Required 5 Years

Experience with Data migration using scripts. Required 5 Years Experience developing logical and physical data models. Desired 5 Years

Experience extracting data from Oracle databases. Desired 5 Years

Experience working within a development environment and with common tools such as code repositories and group collaboration applications. Desired 5 Years
