The Program Manager - WHS (Workplace health & safety) will build processes and work with stakeholders across geographies and market places. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about developing scalable systems, driving process improvement and working with multiple stakeholders. The leader will be responsible for partnering with WW WHS team, Operations team and Tech partners for execution of WHS Programs. By leveraging lean principles and kaizens, this individual will build processes to drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe, healthful & engaging working environment for our Associates across the network. The person needs to work with senior leaders to create and achieve the WHS vision in alignment with Amazon’s global standards, policies and procedures in this space.
The Program Manager must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent written and verbal messages. The person will be required to identify best practices and incorporate these best practices into our standards to continuously improve the processes. The person must possess excellent program management skill, relevant operational background, experience in data analysis and must have led a team. The individual must have ability to work with cross functional teams including senior leadership in India and abroad.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Basic qualifications
Basic Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Technology or Business. - 10+ years of relevant experience in leading programs in an operational environment in manufacturing, production, FMCG / Retail or services sector · Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment. ·
Preferred qualifications
Preferred Qualifications · MBA or an equivalent Master’s program. · WHS experience in a Manufacturing, FMCG / Retail or Services sector · Experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with senior leaders. · Ability to develop and implement department vision, goals and strategies. · Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability. · Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
