Roles and Responsibilities:
Objective/Purpose
14 years of experience in Design in the construction industry with an Oil and Gas Power plant background. Exposure to site execution works for 12 years would be an added advantage.
Objective: The person will be responsible for the complete design and detailed engineering for Solar Power plants, from Mini Grid to Megawatt scales. The Project engineering manager will oversee the entire design for a project or a set of smaller projects, including coordination with other disciplines such as Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical.
Project engineering manager will lead a team of Lead Engineers, Design Engineers, and draftsman to manage the Engineering activities within budget, deliver on time, and maintain a high quality of engineering.
Technical Expertise:
Must be capable of ensuring and executing engineering activities for civil & structural aspects covering substation/control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, guard houses, staff quarters, grading, roads, drainage, outdoor steel structures, miscellaneous works related to the Solar Power Plant, and cabling works. The Project Engineering Manager must be able to review Vendor engineering documents related to Civil & Structural design. Knowledge of new technologies and adaptation for cost-effective solutions is essential.

STAAD Pro, AUTOCAD, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, REVIT, Navisworks, Global Mapper
