    Lead and coordinate the purchase and delivery of assigned commodities in a manner that is consistent with Company policies and performance goals for Electrical Automation and Digitalization business within Siemens Energy.

    How You'll Make an Impact

    Secure adherence to Siemens Energy procurement requirements and guidelines while performing strategic buying of Automation, Construction, installation, fire fighting systems, motors etc for EAD business within Siemens Energy

  • Contribute to secure achievement of defined Siemens Energy procurement targets and KPIs per fiscal year.
  • Implement and follow-up of Request for Quotations (RFQs) with suppliers.
  • Ensure correctness of supplier/material master data required for ordering.
  • Process purchase orders based on requirements from projects and valid frame agreements.
  • Follow-up of purchase orders including order acknowledgements and monitor adherence to delivery dates.
  • Drive supplier expediting to mitigate contractual risk.
  • Report procurement status to related project stakeholders, including regular update of project specific procurement plans.
  • Ensure an accurate goods receipt process.
  • Secure corrective actions to mitigate supplier invoice discrepancies.
  • Support claim management activities.
  • Support supplier evaluation and development activities.
  • Collaborate closely with all relevant procurement stakeholders.
  • What You Bring

  • Experience in P2P process as well as managing complex commodities, in Allied Industry, Global supplier dealing experience. Previous experience in SAP as user.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent of experience industry or engineering environment. With 7+ years of experience within function or industry
  • Working with global suppliers in evening time from 5 pm to 1 am
  • Ability to take ownership, think independently and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proven excellent customer service, written and oral communication and presenting to a variety of audiences in English language.
  • Advanced Microsoft office capabilities (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience of purchasing fundamentals including solicitation of bids, negotiation, and contract formation.
  • Effectively able to participate in teams and collaboration cross-functionally.
  • Ability to assess and establish priorities for self and others, demonstrate flexibility and understand/communicate sense of urgency.
  • Self-motivated, excellent problem-solving abilities and proven decision making skills.
