    About the Role

    EdgeVerve Systems seeks a Safety Officer–Compliance and Governance to join its central compliance function. The role ensures software products comply with open-source licensing obligations by working closely with engineering, DevOps, legal, and product teams.

    • Analyze software for FOSS compliance risks across the organization.
    • Maintain an inventory of used open-source components and tools like Black Duck Hub or SCA identify them automatically.
    • Support automation through scripting primarily in Python ensure seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines support auditing governance activities as part of large organizations practices.Collaborate closely with legal/IP teams on license interpretation risk classification decisions stay updated trends regulations industry best practices.
