    Position Overview:

    As the Enterprise Architect at Avenue Supermarts Ltd.,, you will be at the forefront of our technology strategy, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of our SAP landscape.

    You will collaborate closely with the CEO, CFO, business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to develop innovative solutions that support our retail operations and fuel our growth ambitions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning and Roadmapping:
    Develop and maintain the SAP and digital architecture roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and market trends.
    Conduct regular assessments of the application landscape to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and innovation.


    Solution Design and Implementation:


    Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions, encompassing SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Retail and SAP BW/4HANA.Define architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of applications and systems.


    Integration Management:
    Oversee the integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications, including, BI, supply chain management and othersDevelop integration strategies and protocols to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability across the organization

    Architecture Governance and Compliance:
    Establish and enforce architectural governance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
    Conduct regular architecture reviews and audits to assess compliance, identify risks, and propose remediation measures.


    Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
    Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, priorities, and pain points, and translate them into actionable solutionsPartner with IT teams, vendors, and consultants to drive consensus, resolve conflicts, and foster alignment between business needs and technical capabilities

    Technical Leadership and Team Development:


    Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of SAP architects, developers, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

    Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, professionalism, and integrity in all aspects of architecture and design.


    Change Management and Adoption:
    Drive organizational change by championing the adoption of new SAP technologies, processes, and methodologies.
    Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and support materials to empower end-users and maximize the ROI of SAP investments.
    Facilitate InnovationAssesses disruptive forces affecting the organization and identifies technology-enabled innovation opportunities that enables business strategy.
    Scans emerging technologies and the business ecosystem for major disruptive technology and non technology trends (trendspotting) that affect business.

    Provides practical advice and best practices to take advantage of new, or emerging, opportunities and successfully deliver the expected business outcomes.

    SkillsKnowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.

    Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models, and frameworks.

    Understanding of various operating models such as project-centric and product-centric and also different types of agile principles, methodologies and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level.

    Awareness of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments.
    Effective leadership skills with exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
    Strong consulting skills such as targeted communications, engagement management, stakeholder management and business development.
    Mastery of all components of enterprise architecture, business & IT principles and processes.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.15+ years of progressive experience in architecture, design, and implementation, with a focus on the retail industry.

    Extensive knowledge of SAP modules and solutions, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Retail, and SAP BW/4HANA.Understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

    Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
