Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Dainik Bhaskar Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, as well as other building systems.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of building automation systems, including VRV AC systems.
• Monitor and maintain alarm systems, including fire and security systems.
• Perform manual repairs and maintenance tasks, including lock repairs and window replacements.
• Conduct tests and troubleshoot equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement cost-saving measures and budgeting strategies to optimize facilities maintenance expenses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or facilities engineer.
• Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other building systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
