Only Mumbai based candidates will be consideredResponsibilities:Design, implement, and manage complex MySQL database structuresProvision and configure MySQL instances in both clustered and non-clustered environmentsOptimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and resource utilization analysisImplement and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for MySQL databasesPerform regular backups and recoveries to ensure data integrity and minimize downtimeAutomate routine database tasks using scripting languages like Python or shell scriptingMonitor database health and performance using industry-standard tools and identify potential issues proactivelyImplement and enforce strict security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and data breachesManage user access controls and permissions for the databasesCollaborate with application developers and other IT professionals to troubleshoot database-related issuesStay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in MySQL database administrationDocument database design, configuration, and procedures

RequirementsA total of 10 yoe, with a minimum 6+ years of experience as a Senior MySQL Database Administrator or a similar roleProven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex MySQL databasesIn-depth knowledge of MySQL query optimization techniques and performance tuningStrong understanding of database security best practices and access control mechanismsExperience with database automation scripting (e.g., Python, shell scripting)Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation for MySQL databasesBackground in Banking/Insurance domain is preferredExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA passion for learning and staying current with the latest advancements in MySQL technology
