Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President - Back Office Operations

Unifi Capital P Ltd is a SEBI registered Portfolio Manager and is the investment manager to multiple SEBI-registered Alternative Investment Funds (AIF).

The company is a member of NSE, and BSE and is a CDSL Depository Participant. Established in 2001, UCPL is headquartered in Chennai with branches in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Delhi.

Unifi manages assets over INR 23,500 crores across PMS and AIF platforms (domestic capital), and GIFT platform (overseas Supervising and managing the entire PMS and AIF operations of the firm

• Supervising the Upkeep and maintenance of PMS client and AIFrelated accounting
• Handling Annual Audit of Client accounts, Internal Audit of PMS & AIF operations
• Independent handling of periodic inspections by the regulator
• Ensuring prompt delivery of reports relating to tax filings and other periodic reports to PMS Clients
• Ensuring prompt delivery of monthly SoA and other periodic reports to AIF investors
• Ability to handle client queries and revert quickly with responses
• Responsible for the timely reconciliation of bank accounts and stock accounts of the clients (BRS and DP reconciliations)
• Ensuring prompt and accurate reporting to SEBI for both PMS and AIFrelated filings
• Work closely with the Head of Operations and the Projects Team in critically reviewing processes for improvements and greater controls.
• Liaison with software vendors to resolve issues promptly
• Liaison with Custodians, Trustees, Auditors, Tax Advisors, and Legal Consultants etc.,
• Support the Head of Operations in ensuring prompt compliance reporting, MIS preparation and delivery, 5+ years' experience in PMS/MF operations in Middle/Senior positions
• PG in Commerce, CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution
• Working experience in Wealth Spectrum or similar backoffice software
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to be able to converse effectively with multiple stakeholders like relationship managers, branches, distribution partners, vendors, clients as well as colleagues
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
