**Job Summary:**

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Area Managers for Fulfillment Centers. Amazon is a global leader in e-commerce and distribution, with millions of products shipped every year.

Main Responsibilities:

• Safety: Ensure a safe work environment for all associates by supporting safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Quality: Maintain high standards of quality in our operations, ensuring that customer expectations are met.
• Customer Experience: Focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience by meeting productivity requirements and providing excellent service.
• Productivity: Balance labor and operate efficiently while meeting overall building objectives.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Meet productivity requirements to produce during the day.
• Balance labor and ensure efficient shift operations.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse associates, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to meet their job responsibilities.

Additional Job Elements:

• Regularly perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
• Walk frequently in the FC and around area.
• Continually stand and/or walk.
• Work in noisy, unlit, and non-air-conditioned environments.
• Access all areas of the building safely.

Requirements:

• Direct management experience for employees and their performance.
• Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
• Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Ability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
