    Job Description

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and open-minded individual to join our team at vlink-inc. As a key member of the Aladdin Engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure, scalable, and reliable micro-services using Java technologies.

    You will work closely with product management and business users to deliver the roadmap for the product, identifying issues and roadblocks along the way. With a focus on innovation and problem-solving, you will design and develop solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building modern software systems to contributing to individual project priorities and deadlines using AGILE methodologies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and reliable micro-services using Java technologies.
    • Contribute to individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using AGILE methodologies.
    • Deliver highly efficient, highly available, concurrent, and fault-tolerant software systems.
    • Work with product management and business users to deliver the roadmap for the product.
    • Design and develop innovative solutions to complex problems, identifying issues and roadblocks.

    Requirements:

    • Be inquisitive, enthusiastic, and open to quickly learning the business and our systems.
    • Hands-on experience in Java/Spring Framework/Spring Boot (3+ years).
    • Experience designing and building scalable micro-services using API-First principles (REST/gRPC).
    • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services is beneficial.
    • Message brokers such as Kafka experience is a plus.
    • Demonstrable experience building modern software using engineering tools like git, maven, unit testing, integration testing tools, mocking frameworks.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
    • A real-world practitioner of OO development with an understanding of applying standard Design Patterns to software design.
    • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to pick up new concepts quickly.
    • Friendly, positive, and can-do attitude.

    Qualifications:

    • Java 17+ experience.
    • Scalable micro-service experience using REST or gRPC.
    • Cloud services experience.
    • Kafka experience.
    • Engineering tool experience (git, maven, etc.).
