    Job Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef for one of the leading Hotel Group. As the Executive Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen. This is a full-time position based in Cochin, Kerala, India, and offers a competitive salary range. The ideal candidate should have 7 to 10 years of experience in culinary management, specializing in various cuisines including Italian, Mediterranean, International, Western, and Indian.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or similar role
    • In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, including Italian, Mediterranean, International, Western, and Indian
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
    • Culinary degree or certification is preferred

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities
    • Supervise the kitchen staff and ensure a high level of productivity and efficiency
    • Maintain quality control and food safety standards throughout the kitchen
    • Manage inventory and order ingredients and supplies as necessary
    • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and recipes
    • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
    • Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to the company's standards
    • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen area
    • Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies
    • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and innovations
