    Job Description: CivilStructural Designer Ground MountSolar

    Location:Trichy

    Experience:4 to 6 years

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a reputedinstitution.
    • Mastersdegree (ME/MTech) in Civil or Structural Engineering from awellreputed college; candidates from NIT/IITpreferred.

    Experience:

    • Minimum4 to 6 years of relevant experience in designing MMS (ModuleMounting Structures) and foundations for groundmounted structuresin solar PVProjects.
    • Strongexpertise in designing steelstructures.
    • Previousexperience in the Solar PV field is an addedadvantage.

    RoleAndResponsibilities:

    • Designingfoundations in compliance with IS standards consideringgeotechnicaldata.
    • Understandingand interpreting geotechnical data to propose ideal/optimizedfoundations forMMS.
    • Conceptualizingdesigning and preparing fabrication drawings of Solar PV modulemounting structures(MMS).
    • Conductinganalysis and design of MMS using STAADPro.
    • Optimizingand standardizing designs for efficiency andcosteffectiveness.
    • Reviewingdrawings Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and issuing them for fabricationtovendors.


    Requirements

    • Proficiencyin Structural Design principles andpractices.
    • Experiencein the Solar PV industry particularly with groundmountedstructures.
    • Competencein Geotechnical Analysis for foundationdesign.
    • Expertisein using STAAD Pro for structural analysis anddesign.
    • Strongunderstanding and experience in designing steelstructures.
