    Brief Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team. This position specifically requires expertise in the sheet metal, aluminum industry, construction tools, and service industries. As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, developing and maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the availability of high-quality materials and tools for our organization. Your primary goal will be to optimize costs while maintaining the highest level of quality and timely delivery.

    Responsibilities


    • Oversee and optimize the entire supply chain management cycle, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.


    • Conduct quality audits to maintain and elevate procurement standards, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality goods and services.


    • Build and nurture relationships with senior authorities of vendors, with a focus on strategic vendor sourcing and development.


    • Develop and implement a robust procurement strategy that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.


    • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers in specific industries.


    • Conduct supplier audits, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance for adherence to quality, cost, and delivery requirements.


    • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.


    • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers in the sheet metal, aluminum industry, construction tools, and service industries. Conduct supplier audits, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

    · Analyze market trends, negotiate pricing, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality and service levels.


    • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to forecast material requirements, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules.


    • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to budgetary constraints.


    • Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers, ensuring optimal value for the organization.


    • Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and enforce quality standards for purchased

    · materials, conducting periodic audits and inspections.


    • Identify potential risks in the supply chain, develop contingency plans, and implement risk mitigation

    · strategies to minimize disruptions to the procurement process.


    • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to management on procurement-related matters.

    Desired Candidate Profile


    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. APICS Procurement \ Supply chain management certifications are desirable.


    • 8 – 10 years of experience as a Purchase Manager in the sheet metal, Aluminum industry, construction tools, and service industry.
