    Description

    About The Client :


    A multinational technology and e-commerce company based in the United States is widely recognized as one of the world's largest online retailers.

    In addition to e-commerce, it is a major player in cloud computing through its cloud services division and has expanded into areas such as streaming services, artificial intelligence, and smart devices.


    Essential Job Functions :

    • Validate product behavior using teamprovided SOPs, test tools, and automation.
    • Execute testing for software releases, identify and report bugs.
    • Describe defects in detail, provide screen shots, gather logs/traces, and add to bug reports.
    • Generate and share test reports, triage defects with developers, share test summary reports.
    • Regular maintenance and upkeep for test environment and other test infrastructure components.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Validate product behavior using teamprovided SOPs, test tools, and automation scripts.
    • Execute testing for software releases, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
    • Identify, document, and report bugs using industrystandard bug tracking tools.
    • Describe defects in detail, providing screenshots, logs/traces, and other necessary information to facilitate bug resolution.
    • Generate and share test reports to communicate test coverage, test results, and defect status.
    • Collaborate with development teams to triage defects, prioritize bug fixes, and verify bug resolutions.
    • Regularly maintain and update test environments and other test infrastructure components to ensure their reliability and availability.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 4 to 6 years of experience in quality assurance/testing roles.
    • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
    • Proficiency in describing defects in detail and providing necessary artifacts for bug reports.
