    We are looking for a Senior StaffAccountant to join our team and grow with thecompany.

    The successful candidate will haveexperience in a public accounting firm be professional inappearanceand attitude and workcollaboratively as a member of the team be highly selfmotivated anddirectedcommitted to solving problemsefficiently and interested in being part of an organizationcommitted tocontinuous growth andimprovement.

    This is a position that must be able to set thestandard forintegrity and professionalismand interact with a diverseteam.

    Mainlywell versed with Compilation engagement (yearend engagement withT2) with CaseWarecomplex bookkeeping onmonthly or quarterly basis with QBO & DEXT Review Jraccountants annualbookkeeping for yearendthey use iFirm cloudbased job billing to manage time its integratedwith allsoftware need an employee that canperform and complete tasks in an acceptable amount oftime.


    Yourresponsibilities & duties willinclude:

    The primary duties of the Senioraccountant will be general bookkeeping and accounting as well asthepreparation of financial statements andtaxreturns.

    CPA Compilation engagement files Experience knowledge and skill totake from intake to ready forpartner reviewTax returns and Financial Statements incompliance with CPA CanadasCSRS 4200standards.

    T2 Corporate returns draft from Trial Balance ready for partnerreview & enter additionalinformationas required for client situationsaddress responding to CRA.


    OPTIONAL:

    CRAliaise with/ CRA to address client issues as a clientrepresentative Review letters Adjustments tocorrect errors/issues with previously filedreturns Tax planning and preparation of Yearend work reconciliations Compilation andEngagements Providing mentorship andtraining to junior team members Canadianpayroll experience & GST / HST / PST sales tax modulesreporting filing analyzing The accountantwill also work directly with the CPA firm s clients to completetheirprofessionalservices.


    Qualifications& Skills:

    Bachelors or Master sdegree in accounting or finance CPA/CAdesignation or working towards a CPA/CAdesignation At least 15 years workingexperience in Canadian public accountingfirm.

    Has an excellent working and trainingknowledge in QuickBooks online and CasewareStrong verbal and written communicationskills Ability to work both independentlywith little supervision and within a teamenvironment.

    Effectively monitors multipleor complex projects regularly to check how they are progressingagainstdeadlines.
