    Description

    ITAO / L3 Support is looking for an outstanding IT engineer who is a great communicator and can engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the client organization in a caring and considerate manner. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of supporting applications and Infrastructure landscape. They should possess significant experience in implementing and providing support for technical solutions in Java and related technologies in a RHEL / UNIX environment for large enterprise applications.

    Your key responsibilities

    • Oversee the applications under management
    • Ensure application compliance with organizational IT policies, manage software licenses and vendor products
    • Enhance and support applications through L3 development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software components
    • Manage project or task priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively
    • Continuous improvement and planning
    • Support Product Owner, Tech Analyst, and Scrum Master
    • Introduce innovative ideas from various areas, such as information retrieval, distributed computing, system design, networking, and data
    • Engage directly with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple regions
    • Collaborate with other technical teams, perform technology research, and assess software needed for maintaining the development environment
    • Responsible for TRM compliances and VRM when necessary

    Your skills and experience

    Competencies & Experience:

    • Excellent communication skills and comfortable interacting with stakeholders across different organizational levels in an empathetic and effective manner with strong English proficiency
    • Strong experience in designing and developing scalable, distributed applications
    • Proficient in installing and configuring DevOps tools
    • Adaptable to rapidly changing delivery priorities
    • Willingness to collaborate across domains and regions to enhance technology sharing and efficiency
    • Ability to research and gain expertise in new technologies

    Professional Experience & Skills:

    • Proven hands-on experience in developing Java software solutions in a collaborative setting
    • Solid expertise in Java, related Java technologies (Front-end and middle layer), and Oracle (backend) development
    • Experience in DevOps configuration management tools
    • Familiarity with various tools across SDLC: Sonar, Crucible, JIRA, HP ALM, Confluence, Artifactory, Teamcity, Git/BitBucket, etc.
    • Strong background in observability, including monitoring, logging, tracing, etc.
    • Experience with Web (Apache), Application Servers (Tomcat), and databases (Oracle, SQL/PL-SQL)
    • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
    • Experience or knowledge of job scheduling tools (e.g., ControlM, Zena, Tivoli)
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to delve deep to identify root causes
