- Bachelor/Master degree in computer engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of software development experience in a technical capacity (e.g. Software Developer, Software Engineer in Test).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Knowledge of agile methods and experience in an agile team required.
- 3+ years leadership experience and managing engineers is preferred.
- You have built and managed high performing engineering teams and hired top class engineers.
- Demonstrated ability to attract/recruit/retain external talent and be a coach and employee champion.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to move and act at the operational and tactical levels when required.
- Good understanding of software architecture, and networking concepts.
- Experience leading organizational change, including engaging stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data privacy and protection legislature such as GDPR.
- Lead agile and cross-functional software development teams of "one engineers" who own development and testing, to enhance and maintain the HCM Payroll product.
- Play a key part in hiring strong team members to grow the organization.
