    A Software Engineer Advisor is a person that has a breadth of knowledge in computer science, a problem solving mentality and a passion for continuous improvement. The candidate must have superb analytical and technical skills coupled with the ability to design with the end-user in focus. The applicant will be working on a technology team in Service Operations - Enterprise Print & Distribution (EPD) and will be responsible for working cross functionally to develop solutions to support outbound member, prescriber and client communications.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain architecturally sound components, tools and applications
    • Involved in the full life cycle of projects
    • Responsible for unit testing and code deployment
    • Collaborate with peers, leadership, and business partners to drive solutions
    • Willing to participate in after-hours support rotation

    Tools:

    • Quadient Inspire Designer
    • MessagePoint
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2016
    • MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio)

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience and technical knowledge
    • 8+ years using Quadient Inspire Designer
    • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server 2008/2016 database
    • Experience working in Object-Oriented environment
    • Experience in Windows Server Farm environment

    Preferred Knowledge:

    • Experience writing advanced scripts
    • Inspire Designer – Advanced Data Output modules
    • Inspire Designer – Data Transformer Scripts
    • Inspire Interactive design knowledge
    • Inspire Scaler design knowledge
    • MessagePoint design knowledge
    • OpenText ExStream design knowledge
    • SmartComm design knowledge
