    About the role


    As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will ensure the stability and efficiency of our IT systems while providing top-class support to our end-users.

    You will work with various technologies, including Office 365, Active Directory, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Intune, and Cloud Platforms. You will also ensure that all technology systems are efficient, secure, and reliable while supporting internal and external customers.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for the daily operations of the IT department and managing a team of IT professionals if required Server and Desktop deploymentsService Desk and Change Management processLifecycle ManagementAvailability and Performance ManagementMaintain and manage key third-party relationshipsEnsure the compliance, security and integrity of all company data and information systemsDevelop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providersDevelop and maintain IT-related documentation, including user manuals and technical specificationsManage the key elements of Fusion's IT and operations functions, including, Compute, Storage and Network infrastructureOn-Shore, Off-Shore and Cloud datacentresCommunication toolsMobile and Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) security and continuitySoftware LicensingPlanning and organising to think ahead, manage time, prioritise, assess risks, and develop efficient approaches to deliver high-quality work on timeDevelopment and execution of disaster recovery plans and business continuity processesDevelop and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures Critical business function applicationsEmail and messaging communicationsInter-site networking and connectivityStatic and mobile voice communicationsFusion's business premises continuityProvide day-to-day technical support to end-users to address hardware, software and network-related issuesTroubleshoot and fix technical problems promptly and efficientlyAdminister and manage Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Intune and user accounts, group policies, domain controllers, Cloud Platforms, etcIdentity Management and Access Management to enhance securityMaintain, optimise and ensure the availability of collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Intune, etcDiagnose and resolve critical IT issues that impact operationsProactively implement preventive features to avoid future incidents

    Experience

    At least 7-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in a multi-site organisation.

    Knowledge


    Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, Active Directory, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Intune, etcFamiliarity with network protocols, security, and VPN configurations (MFA, Firewall, Anti-Virus, VPN,Good knowledge of data centre management and Remote DeploymentGood knowledge of Storage ManagementGood to know On-Prem Virtualisation Platform Management (OVH)Good to know VSphere, Vcenter, Vmotion etc.

    Strong leadership skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to interact and communicate with diverse teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of current IT trends and emerging technologiesKnowledge of network infrastructure, security, and data protectionExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant certifications (., ITIL, MCSA, MCSE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's or relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
