We are looking for NPD Expert– Auxiliary - Mechanical Design/ Packaging-Bangalore (Oil and Gas Industry Only) with 6 to 15 Yrs of Experience for our esteemed client for Bangalore Location.

Responsibilities

· Hands on experience in New Product Development (NPD) of Auxiliary Systems for equipment and piping layout under any of the disciplines like: Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Centrifugal compressor & Pumps Auxiliary Mechanical expert - Design will be responsible for the Conceptual & detail design for Skid mechanical packaging design for all disciplines. He/ She will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity. He/ She will be responsible for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions for designs. He/ She should be expert and responsible for designing of all/ some of the following;

• Plot plan, Turbo-Group general arrangement, machinery foundation, machinery main purchaser mechanical connection.
  
• Interconnecting piping layout, air interconnecting piping, anti-icing & anti-surge air interconnecting piping & supports, miniskirt cross piping & supports, Pipe and cable tranches layout
  
• Machinery base plate frames & piping, inlet plenum drains piping for GT, piping full supply, plant interconnecting piping & support
  
• General arrangement for water injection skid, purge air skid, oil mist separation skid, hydraulic starting skid, synthetic oil console, fuel gas treatment skid
  
• Oil purifier outline, mineral lube oil skid outline, cooling water skid outline, hydraulic starting console
  
• Piping thermal stress calculation, base plate calculation report, machinery foundation calculation
  
• Piping lines specifications, main skid weighting specification, fuel gas shut-off and vent valve skid specification, mineral oil console full supply, plant manual valves,
  
• Machinery base plate, Machinery foundation bolts, walkways inside & outside enclosure, on base enclosure & specification, load gear enclosure,
  
• Package interfaces study, miniskirt general assembly dwg, mask for Machinery foundations
  
• Perform Technical Reviews. Review process- 30%-60%-90%. Handhold, guide & mentor the team to improve the technical competency of the team
  
• Drive Knowledge Management, Continuous improvement & Productivity improvement initiatives.
  

Requirements

• More than 10 to 20 years of Experience in Gas Turbine/Steam Turbine/Centrifugal compressor/Reciprocating compressor/Pumps– Designing in oil and gas/petrochemical/power sector.
  
• Should be able to read P&IDs , Customer Specification
  
• Should be able to provide support on preparation of Equipment Specification / Datasheets, Purchase Specification
  
• Tools skill: Siemens NX10 or above, AutoCAD & Team Center
  
• Should be able to prepare Project Scheduling, monitoring, and control, and maintain OTD and Quality of the Engineering documents, timely execution
  
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  
• Experience in an engineering position for Auxiliary System Engineering - Mechanical for Turbomachinery's in oil and gas/power sector.
