Purpose of role:
Quality Assurance in Liquid Propulsion & Mechanical Systems.
Responsibilities (In order of Priority)Co-ordination with the design and manufacturing teams to understand Design, Raw material requirements, in-process quality, product test plans.
Preparation of Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis of various systems (FMECA).In-Process inspection of Precision components including Process Critical Dimensions & Functional Critical Dimensions.
Surveillance during Assembly & Integration of Liquid propulsion systems & Mechanical systems.Generate and maintain Quality documents including Quality Assurance Plans, Dimensional inspection reports, Non-Conformance report, process sheets and in-process check lists, NDT reports, test reports, Quality Assessment Reports etc.
Qualification and Acceptance of raw materials, fasteners and seals.Audit and follow up for closure of Non-conformance reports.
Documentation of Lessons Learnt towards continuous improvement and realization of actual hardware.
Technical Skills (In order of Priority)Experience in QA/QC in Precision assemblies & testing of Mechanical systems and Liquid propulsion systems.
Knowledge in raw material testing standards such as ASTM/AMS for metallics.
Familiarity with quality acceptance standards for aerospace grade fasteners, springs & seals desirable.
Other Skill Set:
Should be able to adapt to new fabrication processes & techniques.
Good communication skills
Essential:
Diploma in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in Aerospace industry as a quality engineering roleFresh can also applyExperience in Liquid Propulsion & Mechanical systems
