    Description

    Role : Lead Engineer Java

    Exp : 9+ yrs

    Work Location : Bangalore (Whitefield)

    Mode : Hybrid

    Role/Responsibility:

    • Be a part of the initial team to define and setup a best in class Digital platform for the Enterprise
    • The cloud developer will work with the engineering team and take full ownership of the specific components of the Digital Platform
    • Work with the Scrum Master, Product Managers, multiple Engineering team members both from Dev and QA and Devops, and anchor end to end development and ownership for the respective platform component

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelors in Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent required
    • Professional experience in Cloud, multi-tenant SaaS based products, highly scalable products
    • Experience in working in fast-paced Start-up environments
    • Well versed with Agile Software development processes and relevant tools
    • Should have been a key contributor in developing end to end product – i.e. from definition to production
    • Must be highly analytical and should have a passion to deliver software IT products
    • Should be self-motivated and adopt an collaborative approach to get things done
    • Must have excellent attention to details

    Technology Experience

    • Strong experience in building technology systems as Platform as a Service
    • Strong experience in working in Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc) based environment and relevant distributed architecture using microservices
    • Excellent Troubleshooting, deployment and debugging
    • Experience in some of the below technologies
    • Cloud Environment Experience: Azure, AWS, Google App Engine
    • Development Tech stack: Java, Microservices/REST APIs, Async Architectures using Messaging systems, RDBMS such as MySQL/Percona, Unstructured NoSQL databases, Elastic Search
    • Devops Tech stack: Chef, Jenkins, Puppet, Python, Shell Scripting, Windows Power shell, AWS Scripting, Atlassian Suite such as Bamboo, Stash, FishEye, Crucible, etc
    • SDLC process – JIRA, Git/SVN, Product Release mgmt.,
    • Technology Certification in the field of BigData, Cloud Environment would be a great value add
    • Full stack experience of working in UI technologies such as Angular, , etc would be an added advantage
    • Experience in any of the IOT platforms would be preferred
    • microservices; Azure & AWS (desired)
    • Design of applications is key for a Lead Engineer role.
