Responsibilities:

• Managingthe planning and design stages of civil engineeringprojects.
  
• Performingdue diligence on the impact and feasibility of new constructionsites.
• Overseeing allproject stages from preliminary layouts to final engineeringdesigns.
• Surveying newconstruction sites and assessing existing structures forupgrades.
• Designing andrecommending improvements to computeraided design (CAD) softwaredrawings andschematics.
• Performingcost estimations and preparing projectbudgets.
• Preparing workschedules and allocating resources as well as supervising juniorengineers construction managers workers technicians andcontractors.
• Ensuring thatcivil engineering projects are completed on time and withinbudget.
• Inspectingcompleted projects for compliance with industry codesspecifications and safetystandards.
• Documentingprocesses and presenting project progress updates to seniormanagers and clients.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelorsdegree in civilengineering.
• Statelicensedand certified civilengineer.
• A minimum of 2years experience working as a senior civil engineer on similarprojects.
• Proficiency incivil engineering project management software such as Civil 3D andCityEngine as well asCAD.
• Indepth knowledge ofcivil engineering and construction specifications standards andcodes.
• Great leadershipproject management decisionmaking and problemsolvingskills.
• Superbmathematical timemanagement and organizationalabilities.
• Excellentcommunication and collaborationskills.
• Availability toperform construction site visits outside of business hours whenrelevant.
