Responsibilities
Order office stationery and supplies
Handling basic office tasks, such as filing, delivering mail, answering emails and phone calls, and data entry.
Submit expense reports
Maintain a filing system for data
Maintaining, repairing, or replacing office equipment.
Organize, store and print company documents as needed.
Make travel arrangements
Handles administrative tasks for faculty searches and vendors.
Maintains accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Solves problems associated with vendors regarding shipments, billing, and statements.
Monitors expenditures, processes payment requests for reimbursement; prepares purchase orders, purchase requisitions and ensures proper procedures for paying service providers, consultants, and contractors.
Requirements and skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 to 3 years of experience in administrative services or related fields.
Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.
Professional appearance, courteous manner, and clear, friendly phone voice.
Experience with office management tools (MS Office software- Excel, Word, in particular)
