- Install and configure database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
- Set up and configure database servers according to best practices and organizational requirements.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor database performance and proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks.
- Implement and maintain database security measures to protect data integrity and and Issue Resolution :
- Investigate and troubleshoot databaserelated issues, such as performance problems, data corruption, and connectivity issues.
- Work with development teams to diagnose and resolve databaserelated application issues.
- Optimize database queries and schema designs to improve performance.

- Manage database software patches and upgrades in coordination with other IT teams.
- Test and deploy database upgrades in a controlled environment to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- Indepth knowledge of database management systems (DBMS), database design principles, and database administration best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database query optimization.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity and security.
- Certification in database administration (e.g.
- Experience with cloudbased database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL, etc.).
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
- Experience with database automation and scripting (e.g., using PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for database deployment and management.
