Airtificial Aerospace & Defense is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and coding of the embedded SW (firmware) that is part of the product of the Industrial or OnBoard divisions.

As an Embedded Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Software conceptual design.
• Coding for firmware (microprocessor tms320, St32, etc..).
• C, python and coding
• Development environment CodeComposer, Visual Studio, etc.
• Test cases definition and execution.
• Detection and resolution of failures
• Handling of basic laboratory equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, generators, etc.)
• Communication protocols: SPI, I2C, CANBUS, ARINC429, 1553, etc...
• ADC peripherals, DAC, Memories, Multiplexers.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Have Minimum of 4+ years' experience in firmware development and real time data processing and management.
• Have Minimum of 4+ years of experience writing code for an embedded processor.
• Have Minimum of 4+ years of experience using C++
• Have Knowledge of microcontroller based digital circuit design and peripheral interface and hands-on of testing tools like Digital Storage Oscilloscope and DMM

Good To Have:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Knowledge of aeronautical regulations.
• Proficiency in software (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc...).
• Knowledge of Office 365, Code Composer, Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of the aeronautical electronics development life cycle, based on ARP4754A, DO-254 and DO-178C will be an asset.
• Knowledge of the DO160 standard and definition of environmental and electromagnetic qualification tests will be an asset.

Work Location: Pune

You will have the opportunity to receive training for a few months, from experts in software development at our headquarters in Spain.
