    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a FMCG Sales Manager at Baidyanath Ayurved located in Kolkata. The Sales Manager will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, managing a team of sales representatives, developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Manager will also be involved in market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) market.

    • Experience in planning and budgeting
    • Knowledge of business process and cross functions (HR, Finance, Logistics , operation's)
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills
    • Knowledge of the FMCG industry
    • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
    • Experience in the Ayurvedic or healthcare industry is a must.
    • Strong Academic background with professional qualification (MBA)

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Assisting in Formulating overall business strategy and policies for organisations growth.
    • Planning and Budgeting.
    • Building the distribution infrastructure in the territory for ensuring better availability of the brands across the market.
    • Ensuring proper functioning of the infrastructure.
    • Managing & motivating sales team and ensuring their stability and growth within the organisation.
    • Oversee day to day operation across all the sales verticals.
    • Ensure the productivity of all the sales team members as per the agreed norm's.
    • Oversee recruitment and training of all the new and existing team in coordination with HR.
    • Ensure financial hygiene in business operation's and control outstanding.
    • Coordinating with logistics and production team to plan for proper stock management to control processed stock inventory.
    • Provide Solution to business & market issues (e.g. scheme's , profit , business loss , employee conflict etc).
    • Analysing the sales and preparing reports for taking better decisions for the future.
    • Scheduling regular team meeting to review the business and plan for growth & reporting the same to management.
    • Direct and assist in employees appraisals and provide feedback to team.
    • Identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities beside regular operation's (like tenders, export opportunities etc.)
